Lower Manhattan Psychiatry Practice

This project began from a raw unfinished open office. The founding doctor of the practice wanted something more interesting and edgier than a typical therapeutic space. I color drenched the walls and ceilings of the rooms with stunning blue, calming mauve and soothing taupe. The treatment rooms needed reclining chairs (that didn’t look too clinical or TV room-like), comfortable sofas and thoughtful art for patients to rest their eyes on. And all of this needed to be done on a relatively tight budget!
