My process is communicative & collaborative.
I want to understand your style and what you need out of your space. I do my best to filter your style through mine to come up with something truly wonderful. I only work with a couple of clients at a time so you’ll get lots of personal attention.
I will provide you with 2-D and 3-D floor plans that help you visualize the layout and flow of your space. I also make virtual design boards that include both items I am suggesting you purchase, as well as what you already have, to give you a sense of the room as a whole.
Together, we’ll look at finishes, paint samples and color swatches; I love to spend time in the space that I am working on, but can also design virtually if necessary.
My communication and collaboration extend to the radespeople and contractors we work with as well. I will make guides for installations and be on call for questions.

I charge per hour and give you an initial estimate of the hours I think your project will take.
If the project increases in scope, I recalibrate my estimate. We will discuss the additional charges before you are responsible for any extra payment.

Designer for a day is for clients who want help and advice but are not yet ready to dive into working with me on a full service project.
I will come to your home or office for the day (or half-day, either 3hrs. or 6hrs) I will bring my laptop, measuring tools, fabric swatches, and paint decks. Together, we will accomplish as much as we can in the time we have.
Here is some of what we can do:
Install a gallery wall
Decide on color palette/paint colors
Rearrange furniture
Source/shop for new furniture
Try out new layouts using my floor planning software
Organize/style your existing space
Problem solve for all things design related!
